Position Summary
The Campus Director oversees the daily operations, staff, and educational environment at Academy Christian School. This position ensures that all programs run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with the school’s mission, values, and academic standards. The Campus Director provides leadership to teachers and support staff, maintains strong communication with families, and helps create a nurturing, faith-based atmosphere where children can learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Administration
- Lead and support all campus staff
- Oversee daily campus operations, schedules, and classroom management.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, licensing regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct staff meetings, evaluations, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality instruction and care.
Student & Family Support
- Build strong, positive relationships with students and their families.
- Address parent questions, concerns, and communication in a professional, supportive manner.
- Work with teachers to monitor student progress and support individualized learning needs.
Curriculum & Program Oversight
- Support teachers in implementing the school’s curriculum and faith-based teaching philosophy.
- Ensure lesson plans and classroom activities meet academic, developmental, and spiritual goals.
- Help plan school events, programs, and special activities.
Safety & Facility Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized campus environment.
- Oversee emergency procedures, drills, and staff safety training.
- Monitor supply inventory and coordinate with staff to ensure classrooms are well-equipped.
Community & School Culture
- Model Christ-centered leadership, compassion, and integrity.
- Foster a positive, encouraging school culture for staff, students, and families.
- Represent the school at events, tours, and community activities.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in early childhood education, elementary education, or school leadership.
- Directors License is a huge plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to create a positive, supportive work environment.
- A heart for Christian education and commitment to the school’s mission
