Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee operations within a senior care or long-term care facility. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with care standards, and maintaining efficient facility operations to support residents' well-being and safety. An Administrator oversees daily office activities, maintains records, supports management, and ensures efficient workflow across departments. They act as the central point of contact for internal and external communication, helping the organization stay organized, compliant, and productive.
Responsibilities
- Office Coordination — Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, supplies, and workspace organization.
- Record Management — Maintain accurate files, databases, and documentation.
- Communication Support — Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence between departments and clients.
- Administrative Support — Assist executives and staff with reports, presentations, and meeting preparation.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management — Organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Data Entry — Input and update information in company systems with accuracy.
- Compliance Assistance — Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation meet organizational standards.
- Customer Service — Greet visitors, respond to inquiries, and support client needs.
- Reporting — Prepare summaries, status updates, and operational reports for management.
- Lead and supervise staff in delivering high-quality care tailored to residents’ needs, including those requiring Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and other specialized services.
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
- Manage daily operations of the facility, including staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to long-term care, senior care, and home & community care standards.
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with legal and safety guidelines.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for resident health assessments and emergency response planning.
- Lead efforts in staff training, development, and performance evaluations to uphold high standards of care.
Qualifications
A BACHELOR'S OR MASTER DEGREE IN EDUCTION OR SOCIAL WORKER WITH 2 TO 3 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN A DAYCARE CENTER. A LEADER SOME ONE THAT'S GOOD AT LEADING A TEAM NOT BEING A FOLLOWER
- Proven management experience within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes; supervisory experience is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of senior care services including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and long-term residential management.
- Strong background in operations management with skills in budgeting and financial acumen.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized memory or dementia support is highly desirable.
- Background in nursing or social work preferred; medication administration experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for working with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards governing long-term and home-based eldercare environments.
