Highlands Academy is located within the highly sought after corridor near Downtown Denver and has been an established early childhood center serving children Birth-5 years old for over 10 years! Our center is open year-round with operation hours of 7:30AM-5:30PM.
Your Role:
As a Lead Teacher, youll create a playful, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 2-3 years old. Youll build positive relationships, foster independence, and encourage exploration through open-ended materials, nature, storytelling, music, movement, and more.
Responsibilities:
This is a full time, full year position. Scheduled work hours are 7:15-3:45 (hours may change according to the needs of the classroom/school). Our salary range is based upon education and experience.

Your Role:
As a Lead Teacher, youll create a playful, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 2-3 years old. Youll build positive relationships, foster independence, and encourage exploration through open-ended materials, nature, storytelling, music, movement, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement play-based, developmentally appropriate activities along with documentation for families
- Supervise and engage with children during free play, group time, outdoor play, and routines
- Promote children's social and emotional development through modeling, guidance, and encouragement
- Create daily routines such as snack, diapering/toileting, and cleanup
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and nurturing classroom environment
- Communicate positively with children, families, and team members
- Manage and collaborate with two assistants
- Must hold at least a Level 3 credential in PDIS (completed ECE coursework or relevant degree).
- 2 years of experience working as a Lead Teacher in a school setting
- Warm, patient, and playful personality
- Passion for early childhood education and belief in the power of play
- Willingness to learn and collaborate as part of a team
- Must meet state licensing requirements (health clearances, etc.) and eligible to work in the United States

Salary : $50,000 - $52,000
