Job description:
The Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned ABA clinic. This role ensures the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, maintaining a focus on patient care, staff management, and operational efficiency. The Center Manager will lead the team to meet company standards, improve patient satisfaction, and achieve financial and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Ensure the center operates efficiently and meets daily operational goals.
- Monitor scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Implement and adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards for quality care.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise, train, and mentor clinical and administrative staff, promoting a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the HR department for recruitment, staff development, and performance management.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, ensuring team members meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Client Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure that patient documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA).
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure client progress is consistently monitored and goals are being met.
- Financial & Revenue Cycle Management:
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure timely and accurate billing, prior authorizations, and collections.
- Manage the center's budget, including oversight of expenses and revenue targets.
- Track financial performance and provide regular reports to upper management.
- Facilities & Safety Management:
- Ensure that the clinic is clean, safe, and conducive to high-quality care.
- Handle maintenance issues and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Develop and enforce emergency preparedness and safety protocols in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinic operations.
- Analyze clinic performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure service offerings meet client needs and align with the company’s mission and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in clinic or healthcare management.
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, or similar clinical settings, is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and families.
- Proficiency in HR management software (such as Paycom), scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing, authorizations, and collections.
