Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor to provide personalized educational support to students! The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various subjects and be able to adapt their teaching methods to meet the individual needs of learners. Duties
- Conduct small group tutoring sessions in Reading and Math with K-12 students
- Provide clear explanations of complex concepts and foster an engaging learning environment.
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
- Administer our proven programs, record student scores and progress, and provide feedback to the director
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and understanding of vocabulary, reading comprehension, and basic math computation skills (K-6 minimum, Algebra and Geometry knowledge preferred).
- Previous experience working with children or adults in an educational setting is helpful.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
- Patience and adaptability to accommodate different student needs.
- A passion for helping others succeed academically.
- A degree in a any field or current college enrollment preferred.
- After school and Saturday hours required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
