Job Description Summary:
The Education Consultant provides educational support and guidance to students, assisting with academic improvement and development. This role involves working one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce subject knowledge, develop effective study habits, and implement brain-friendly learning strategies.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
- Prepare for sessions with appropriate materials and resources.
- Adds value to team and Academic Independence as a whole.
- Adhere to our academic integrity policy for all clients.
- Adhere to and support all Academic Intelligence policies and procedures.
- Remains up-to-date with current tests, research, and study strategies.
- Conduct one-on-one and/or group tutoring sessions.
- Implement study strategies and Brain Friendly Learning techniques.
- Create engaging learning materials if needed.
- Send notes after each session with constructive feedback and progress updates.
- Attend meetings and trainings.
- Follow company Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with parents and the organization to increase student performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
Work Location: In person
