Child Care Enrollment Specialist

Position Summary

The Enrollment Specialist is a key growth-focused role responsible for converting prospective family inquiries into active enrollments across our child care centers. This position blends customer service, relationship-building, and sales, and requires consistent follow-up, data tracking, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable with outreach, tracking leads, and actively guiding families through the decision-making and enrollment process.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Answer, return, and follow up on incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective families.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for families from first inquiry through enrollment.Schedule, conduct, and follow up on tours of child care centers as needed.
• Actively follow up with prospective families to encourage enrollment and fill available openings.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate lead and enrollment data in CRM systems, including Wix and Playground.
• Perform regular data entry to ensure inquiry notes, tour outcomes, and enrollment statuses are current.
• Track lead activity and conversion progress from inquiry to enrollment.
• Prepare and report quarterly lead and enrollment conversion metrics.
• Participate in occasional meetings with leadership and center directors to review enrollment performance and strategies.
• Collaborate with administrative and center teams to support smooth onboarding of newly enrolled families.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling family and child information.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred (verbal and written communication)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in enrollment, admissions, sales, customer service, or administrative roles preferred.
• Comfort with sales-related responsibilities, including follow-up, persuasion, and closing enrollments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple leads at different stages.
• Comfortable using technology and CRM systems; experience with Wix, Playground, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and confidence interacting with families both in person and by phone.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout child care centers during tours.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer, answering calls, and performing data entry.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate phones, computers, and office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
• Occasional lifting of up to 15–25 pounds.

Compensation & Incentives

• Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
• $50 bonus for each new child successfully enrolled as a result of Enrollment Specialist outreach and follow-up.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
