About the Role:
The Program Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our youth and community programs. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain files, performance reports, time certifications, and other documentation required for the implementation of this program.
- Assist in data collection, entry, and analysis to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Prepare and update Excel spreadsheets, reports, and performance tracking tools.
- Support program coordination, scheduling, and communication with staff, youth, and community partners.
- Present updates and program information clearly in team meetings or public settings.
- Take initiative to identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Two years of college required (Associate degree preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong math skills and attention to numerical accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all tasks.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in youth programs, clerical support, or community service preferred.
