POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Food Service Workerwillworkin thedifferent aspectsof preparing and delivering food to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise Cook and Kitchen Attendantstaff
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at alltimes
- Organize inventory, storage, and distribution of food items andsupplies
- Help to plan menus, apportion ingredients, and use foodsurpluses
- Rotate stock items and restock kitchen forsubsequentshifts
- Ensure food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at shiftend
- Must be willing tooperatecompanyvehicle
- Other duties asassigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of experience as a Cookisrequired
- Must have a valid U.S.driver's license and satisfactory driverrecord
- Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentationrequired
- ServeSafeCertificationpreferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities tocompletion
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thoughtprocess
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changingenvironment
