The RMO Resource Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the effective allocation and management of resources for projects. This non-billable, non-client-facing position involves working closely with PMO Project Managers, Sales, Delivery resources, and other stakeholders to address resource needs, resolve conflicts, and maintain accurate data, reporting, and analytics. The RMO Resource Manager’s strategic insight ensures that the organization’s resource requirements align with business goals.

What you’ll do:
- Manage the assignment of PMO Project Managers and Delivery resources to active and upcoming projects based on resource availability, skills, and project timelines
- Collaborate with PMO Project Managers to identify resources required for upcoming tasks by reviewing and fulfilling resource requests
- Ensure Delivery resources are timely and accurately inputting and updating their skills and certifications in-system
- Maintain the matrix of skills and certifications needed by Delivery resources to deliver projects and ensure all resources are keeping their skills up-to-date at least quarterly via skills reporting and dashboards
- Partner with Sales, Order Management, PMO Project Manager, and Services leadership to forecast resource needs for upcoming projects.
- Review and fulfill resource requests and communicate gaps in resource availability or skill sets to the RMO Director and other key stakeholders
- Assist in refining resource management processes and contribute to updates in standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support the adoption and effective use of resource management tools and technology
- Address and resolve resource allocation conflicts, escalating complex issues to the RMO Director when necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to project and resource data impacting resource management
- Monitor resources and project data to ensure accurate reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supervision and resource management, workforce planning, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Certinia (PSA) or similar resource management technology
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments
- A commitment to providing exceptional service to internal customers
- Knowledge of project management and related business processes
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior financial services / Governance, Risk, and Compliance work experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Conga CLM, and Salesforce CPQ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination across teams and external partners.
- Experience managing high-value and complex resources in a professional services consulting environment.
- Clear and concise communication skills to engage with project managers, delivery teams, and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities effectively.
- Proactive in identifying resource-related issues and developing creative solutions; adept in balancing team needs with project priorities.
- Strong analytical skills to forecast resourcing needs.
