Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and inspecting heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor system issues, recommending repairs or replacements as needed to prevent future malfunctions.
- Conduct comprehensive system inspections, checking for wear, damage, or potential problems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Replace components such as filters, belts, and other parts as needed, and provide recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining maintenance findings and offering recommendations in a clear, professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of maintenance schedules and service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including services performed, parts used, and recommendations for further action.
- Stay up-to-date on HVAC maintenance best practices and industry advancements to continuously improve technical skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Maintenance Technician.
- Valid HVAC technician license/certification.
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and their maintenance needs.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
