Job Overview
Responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance, upkeep, and
cleanliness of the rooms. They are responsible for establishing a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and
product quality and provide exemplary performance for the staff to follow.

Essential Job Functions
Maintain brand cleanliness standards for rooms and public areas and inspect them to ensure that standards
are met
Trains staff in all aspects of housekeeping
Plans work schedules and room assignments with minimum disruption to guests
Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction measures
Communicate to guests about hotel promotions, local attractions and points of interest
Ensures employees know policies, pay procedures, bonus plans and benefits
Use ongoing safety training to minimize workers’ compensation claims
Monitors and maintains acceptable turnover levels
Manage department human resources functions including recruiting, selecting, orientation, training,
performance evaluations, and managing pay/rewards programs
Maintains a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management
Ensures personnel files are accurate and comply with regulations
Resolves employee grievances in a fair and timely way
Buys and orders cleaning supplies, linens, and chemicals at the best prices with approval from supervisor
Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures staff follows proper inventory/cost control procedures
Understands “Right to Know” laws, which apply to housekeeping supplies and chemicals
Recognizes and corrects conditions which may create security, fire, or accident hazard

Background in the hospitality industry
Will be required to work weekends and holidays
Physical Demands

and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to see differences in widths and lengths of lines, such as

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
