Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, including dry cleaning processes, and possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before processing
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to meet laundry demands in a timely manner
• Use cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
• Restock shelves
• Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager

Experience

• Previous experience in a laundry or cleaning role is preferred
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Demands

• Ability to Lift, Push, Pull up to (50) pounds required
• Frequent bending while loading/unloading washers/dryers, sorting linen and folding
• Continuous movement throughout the department
• Standing required throughout the entire shift
