What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess (Juniper Roof Top Restaurant) position at AC Greenville?
Juniper, the beautiful and exciting rooftop restaurant located atop AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown, is seeking an energetic, outgoing Host/Hostess to greet our guests with a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. We want our guests to feel welcome the minute they step in to Juniper.
Essential Job Functions
- Display friendly attitude greeting and seating guests. Seat and present guest with clean menus. Seat all stations equitably assuring equal distribution of parties.
- Keep reception area clean and neat.
- Know locations of all outlets and services.
- Be familiar with menu items and daily specials, including basic knowledge of food and ingredients.
- Strong menu knowledge about the offerings in the restaurant(s).
- Be flexible, reliable and available for scheduling due to business demands.
- Assist with bussing tables, pouring water and resetting tables as needed
- Assist managers as necessary.
Experience/Education
High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
