What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Nursing Officer position at AC Employment?
This position, reporting to the site Administrator, has responsibility for the provision of nursing services for the facility. Service lines include, short term rehabilitation sub-acute, neurodegenerative care, hospice and long term geriatric care, and memory care.
- The Chief Nursing Officer directs a staff of approximately 300 nursing personnel and interfaces regularly with physicians, department directors, clinical staff and system leaders.
- The CNO is intimately involved in the strategic planning for the redevelopment of Ferncliff Nursing Home.
- The CNO leads and directs all related activities within the context of our policies and procedures and the Code of the Department of Health to ensure the following: continuous compliance with accreditation and regulatory guidelines, meeting business expectations, maximum productivity within the nursing department by streamlining and centralizing functions, participation in health system leadership initiatives, and open communication and collaboration with leaders, physicians and other key stakeholders to design and execute patient care programs that support the Mission, Vision and Values of ArchCare at Ferncliff Nursing Home.
