The Electrical Estimator will review project plans and specifications, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical projects. Daily responsibilities include analyzing labor, material, and equipment requirements, obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers and engineers, supporting bid preparation and proposal documentation, and updating estimates based on change orders or new information. The Electrical Estimator will also help maintain estimating databases and participate in post-bid reviews to improve future estimating accuracy.
