Houseman Position – New Hotel Opening

Join our team at our brand-new hotel in downtown Boise! We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. As a Houseman, you will play an important role in supporting our housekeeping team and helping maintain the overall appearance of the hotel.

Position Summary

The Houseman assists the housekeeping department by ensuring guest floors, public areas, and housekeeping storage areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Support housekeeping staff with daily operations
• Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to guest rooms and storage areas
• Remove trash and used linens from guest floors
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, elevators, and back-of-house areas
• Assist with setting up rollaway beds, cribs, and guest requests
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Help maintain organization of housekeeping closets and laundry areas
• Provide friendly and professional guest service at all times

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
