Quality Lab Technician

Job Overview

Reporting to the Corporate Quality Manager, the Quality Lab Tech position is a in person warehouse/office role responsible for facilitating testing and research Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. They will perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment. Receive or collect, as well as process samples.

Specific tasks of this position include but are not limited to:

• Perform moisture testing

• Perform product quality testing

• Perform radial testing

• Data entry

• Raw material testing

• Ply bond checks

• Assist in investigation of quality issues

• Keeps retains and lab organized(Georgia plant only)

• Use of vernier calipers, tape measures, and other measurement devises

• On floor product audits

• On floor during sample runs

• Oversee material hold

• Special projects as required

Pay: From $16.96 per hour
