PSC has an immediate opening for a light duty driver.  The Light Duty Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods, materials, or equipment safely and efficiently using trucks or vans. They ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations. The duties include the following:

• Operate light trucks or vans to transport goods to designated locations. 
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. 
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. 
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., fuel levels, brakes, tires). 
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. 
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic regulations while driving. 
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff for smooth operations. 
• Assist in minor vehicle repairs and report any mechanical issues promptly.

The required education and experience is as follows:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
• Experience in driving light-duty trucks or vans is an advantage. 
• Knowledge of local and regional roadways. 
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy loads. 
• Good communication and customer service skills. 
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
