3rd/4th grade Teacher

Abundant Life Christian School (ALCS) has been providing Christ-centered education in the Greenville area since 1995. With a mission to combine academic excellence with Biblical wisdom, ALCS seeks to nurture students in their spiritual, academic, physical, and emotional growth. The school offers small class sizes and utilizes the Abeka and Bob Jones curriculums, supplemented by enriching extra-curricular programs such as music, P.E., and computer education. ALCS is dedicated to equipping students to become successful, compassionate leaders in their communities, guided by the support of a qualified and caring teaching staff.

This is a full-time on-site role for a 3rd/4th grade Teacher located in Greenville, SC. The teacher will create, implement, and manage age-appropriate lesson plans while adhering to the school's curricula. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, assessing student progress, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and providing individualized support to meet the diverse learning needs of students. The role also entails collaborating with staff, communicating regularly with parents, and incorporating a Christ-centered approach into teaching practices to encourage both academic and spiritual growth.

• Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education
• Strong Teaching and classroom management skills
• Effective Communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• A background in Education with a focus on elementary grade levels
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters both academic success and personal growth
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required; a teaching license or certification is a plus
• Experience in Christian education and familiarity with the Abeka or Bob Jones curriculum preferred
• Commitment to incorporating Biblical principles and values into teaching philosophy
