What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Coastside Clean Team Coordinator position at Abundant Grace Coastside Worker?
Part-Time Coastside Clean Team (CCT) Coordinator
Job Description
$22.00 per hour / approx. 10 hrs per week / Mon, Wed, Fri.
Located in Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
MISSION STATEMENT:
Abundant Grace Coastside Worker is a nonprofit that serves the homeless population of Half Moon Bay with a focus on food justice, employment, housing, sobriety and health, and other direct services in order to promote social and economic justice.
The CCT Program Coordinator oversees our Coastside Clean Team (CCT) removing trash from local beaches, coastal trails and neighborhoods. We work with people experiencing homelessness who are struggling with substance abuse, mental health and more. This means keeping a clean, hospitable, peaceful and caring environment where everyone is recognized and valued is essential for all of our other programming to be successful.
The CCT Program Coordinator shares information with the CCT Program Manager and Executive Director about people’s behavior and performance.
The job is rewarding and unique. Every work day is an opportunity to transform the life of a person experiencing homelessness through our philosophy of accompaniment: journeying with people as they try to improve their lives, and bringing all the appropriate resources we can bring to any given situation.
The CCT Part-Time Program Coordinator is a part-time, non-exempt position. Payroll is $22.00 per hour. The position reports directly to the Executive Director.
