Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation needs
- Help with mobility and safety supervision
- Monitor client well-being and report concerns to the agency
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Skills
- Experience in Home & community care experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to communicate and to work independently
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Ability to pass required background screenings
- Familiarity with home care assistance, home & community care regulations, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to perform patient personal care assistance including hygiene, dressing, and mobility
