We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The Dance Instructor will play a vital role in developing students' skills while promoting creativity and self-expression through movement.
Duties
- Teach various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, and other genres as needed.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Utilize photography skills to document student progress and performances when necessary.
- Engage with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Skills
- Proficient in teaching techniques for various age groups, including early childhood education.
- Experience working with children in settings such as childcare or preschool environments.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support diverse learners, including those with special needs.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles to foster growth in young dancers.
- Ability to incorporate creative arts such as theater into dance instruction.
