Plant Manager

• Lead and supervise shop floor employees to ensure efficient production operations.
• Oversee quality control personnel and processes to ensure all products meet established quality and performance standards.
• Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer deadlines and optimize workflow.
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate equipment repairs and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Utilize expertise in Fiberglass and Rubber Lining processes to support production and resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with employees, senior leadership, and customers.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure clear ownership and accountability.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve production-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Manage employee performance by providing feedback, implementing improvement plans, and motivating team members to achieve production and personal development goals.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production needs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Adapt to changes in production demand, technology, and staffing requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation related to maintenance, quality, safety, and production metrics.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) manufacturing, with a strong understanding of fiberglass processes and related equipment.
• Rubber lining experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may substitute formal education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using standard measurement
• Demonstrated ability to maintain product quality and meet performance standards.
• Experience maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety regulations.

Salary: $65,000-$70,000 DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
