What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage commercial HVAC projects from install to service to repair.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and RTUs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on complex systems to maximize uptime.
- Guarantee compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Coach junior technicians—share best practices and advanced troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep work on track.
- Document all work thoroughly—service records, parts, and recommendations.
- Take emergency service calls and restore operation quickly and safely.
- Recommend upgrades and energy-efficient improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.
- 10 years in commercial HVAC with strong hands-on experience in boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, components, and controls.
- EPA Universal Certification (required); additional HVAC certifications are a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Top-tier troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Leadership and team mentorship skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- HVAC / HVAC-R Systems
- Service, Installation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repair
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
- EPA Certification
- High School / GED
