Control Services is an independently owned Nebraska building automation and service company providing integrated building controls, HVAC, energy-management, security, and systems-integration solutions. The company is a Schneider Electric Master BMS partner and represents the EcoStruxure platform alongside additional controls technologies.

Its service organization supports HVAC equipment, DDC, electronic controls, integration, energy savings, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and 24/7 emergency response.

Role Summary

The Account Executive develops new business and expands established customer relationships through building automation, HVAC controls, mechanical service, and smart-building solutions.

Control Services is open to both experienced sales professionals and technically strong industry professionals capable of developing into consultative sellers. Candidates may come from BAS, HVAC, mechanical, security, engineering, construction, field-service, or installation backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business throughout Nebraska and Western Iowa.
• Grow existing strategic accounts.
• Meet with executives, owners, facility managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Identify building automation, HVAC, mechanical-service, and energy opportunities.
• Develop technically sound estimates and proposals.
• Present financial and operational value to customer stakeholders.
• Manage opportunities through the complete sales cycle.
• Develop strategic plans for priority accounts.
• Maintain CRM pipeline and forecast information.
• Participate in pre-bid reviews with operations.
• Coordinate with technical and service teams throughout project development.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across Control Services' three major business segments.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience in BAS, HVAC, mechanical systems, construction, security, engineering, field service, or a comparable technical environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability and desire to develop business.
• Numerical aptitude and commercial judgment.
• Ability to learn technical solutions and estimating.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Self-directed and performance-oriented work style.

Preferred Qualifications

• BAS/building-controls experience.
• HVAC controls or mechanical-service experience.
• Schneider Electric or comparable controls-platform knowledge.
• Existing Nebraska commercial-building relationships.
• Technical sales experience.
• Engineering or Construction Management education or equivalent field experience.

• Revenue and estimated GP production.
• Approximately $1.5M annual sales trajectory by year two as an internal performance target discussed during kickoff.
• New customer acquisition.

Salary Description $85,000 - $120,000 /year
