Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research of public records, deeds, liens, and other property documents to verify ownership history and identify potential issues.
- Utilize GIS technology to map property boundaries and analyze spatial data for accuracy and completeness.
- Review title reports and related documentation to ensure compliance with real estate law and company standards.
- Collaborate with law offices, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient title processing and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of all searches, findings, and correspondence for audit purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings clearly and assisting clients or internal teams with title-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in real estate law, local regulations, and best practices to ensure accuracy and compliance in all searches.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, property records, and title processing procedures.
- Proven research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal documents and data sources.
- Experience working within a law office or legal environment specializing in real estate transactions is preferred.
- Familiarity with GIS software or spatial analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- 5 Years prior experience in a title searcher role or related position is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
