Position Summary
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date client inventory within Abstract Display's database and systems. This position plays a key role in documenting, tracking, and inspecting materials as they move in and out of the warehouse. The Inventory Control Associate works closely with Inventory, Client Services, and Production teams to ensure precise documentation, timely communication, and efficient support of client exhibit needs. This position is fully on site and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Document materials shipped to and returned from trade shows, including inspecting and recording damages or shortages
- Ensure all client property is accurately stored, easily identifiable, and located in the correct warehouse areas
- Enter and update client and rental inventory following established procedures
- Monitor and audit inventory records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy, traceability, and loss control
- Complete client inventory counts and reconciliations
- Update the Abstract Displays product catalog and catalog rental inventory
- Maintain clear communication with the Inventory, Client Services, and Production teams regarding irregularities, needs, or required updates
- Verify inventory updates are completed prior to shipping, coordinating with Client Services and internal teams
- Provide recommendations and solutions for inventory shortages and assist in maintaining high quality service delivery
- Comply with all company safety rules, procedures, and workplace expectations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials within a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed for inventory tasks
- Comfortable working in a physical environment that includes handling exhibit materials and equipment

Education and Experience
- Associate Degree in Business or related field, or
- 2 to 3 years of equivalent inventory control experience
