Job Description
Responsibilities
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the Care Home or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Perform housekeeping duties such as dusting, cleaning, mopping floors organizing clients rooms etc..
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear face covering while in the building and must provide proof of vaccination and or negative covid-19 test on an ongoing basis.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Morgan Hill, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Qualifications
No experience needed. We will provide training.
