Duties
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems according to specifications and building codes.
- Build and design HVAC systems tailored to client needs.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
- Conduct appliance repairs as necessary to ensure system functionality.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems when required.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing HVAC equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to build and design custom HVAC solutions based on client specifications.
- Proficiency in plumbing tasks associated with HVAC installations.
- Experience with appliance repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vans for job site transportation.
- Welding skills are considered a nice-to-have for certain installation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
