Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacy Operations Manager based in Tampa, FL. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing workflow, and leading a team of pharmacy professionals. The role involves supervising pharmacy technicians, maintaining inventory, monitoring quality and safety standards, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Operations Management and Pharmacy Operations
- In-depth knowledge of Pharmacy Practice and compliance regulations
- Experience in leading and coordinating Pharmacy Technicians
- Strong understanding of pharmacy systems and processes
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field (Master's or PharmD preferred)
- Active pharmacy license in good standing with the relevant state board
