- Ensure strict adherence to pharmacy regulatory compliance policies, including HIPAA, drug regulation laws, and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Utilize pharmacy software and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) to process prescriptions, document compounding procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to pharmacy laws, drug regulation updates, and clinical pharmacy practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in pharmacy compounding with a focus on non-sterile preparations.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to medication formulation.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA, USP guidelines, and state/federal pharmacy laws.
- Ability to manage inventory efficiently while ensuring medication safety and regulatory adherence.
