Semi-Armed Event/Rover Security OfficeKey Responsibilities• Conduct routine patrols and security checks of buildings, grounds, and assigned areas in accordance with post orders.• Protect property against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, and unauthorized entry.• Maintain effective access and egress control at designated posts.• Interact professionally and courteously with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.• Stay alert and respond appropriately to alarms, unusual activity, and safety hazards.• Identify and report fire, safety, and security risks.• Regulate and direct traffic as needed to promote safety and prevent accidents.• Complete and submit accurate Daily Activity Reports and incident documentation.• Fill open posts as directed by supervision.• Travel between multiple posts during a single shift based on operational needs.• Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements• Minimum age 26 for driving assignments, unless verifiable work-related driving experience is provided.• Active Guard Card (required).• Baton Permit, Pepper Spray/OC Certification, and CPR Certification (required).• Must meet all additional site-specific qualifications and compliance requirements.• Clean and verifiable driving record (for driving assignments).• Reliable transportation to and from assigned sites.• Strong customer service and communication skills.• Basic computer proficiency to operate guard touring systems and attendance-tracking technology.• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying site responsibilities using post orders without additional in-person instruction.• Strong critical thinking, situational awareness, and sound judgment.Physical & Work Environment Requirements• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule based on operational needs.• Willingness to work at multiple posts with differing duties and expectations.• Ability to work in various environments, including cold, heat, rain, or snow.• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs.• Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed.• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods on various surfaces.Additional Requirements• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
