### Job Summary
Denton State Supported Living Center is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.
### Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Provide medication education and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Perform computer-based data entry; training will be provided.
- Follow facility policies, HHSC requirements, and applicable ICF/IID regulations.
- Support residents' health, safety, treatment, and overall well-being.
# Qualifications
- Valid LVN license.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Compliance with HHSC immunization requirements.
- Successful completion of required drug screening and fingerprinting.
- Ability to complete all facility and HHSC mandatory training.
# Shift Availability
- *6:00 AM – 2:00 PM:* 6 positions
- *2:00 PM – 10:00 PM:* 2 positions
*Schedule:* Sunday–Saturday, with alternating shifts as needed to meet staffing requirements.
# Contract & Onboarding
- Six-month contract.
- Candidates may start any day of the week, subject to at least five days for pre-employment processing.
- The start date depends on completion of all required clearances and compliance requirements.
# Required Submission Documents
- Updated resume or work history.
- Two complete professional references from supervisors at two different employers.
- Current Nursys report showing all nursing licenses held.
- Completed nursing skills checklist.
- Preferred shift: 6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM.
