Overview
We are looking for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join our outpatient functional medicine practice. This role supports providers and patients through clinical assistance organization and reliable follow through. The right candidate is detail oriented, patient focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative medical office.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked
- Assist providers during office visits and procedures
- Administer injections and assist with lab collections as directed
- Document patient information clearly in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate lab orders follow ups and patient communication
- Support patient flow and daily clinic operations
- Maintain a clean organized and compliant clinical environment
- Follow HIPAA and office policies at all times
Requirements
- Current CMA or RMA certification
- Experience in an outpatient medical office preferred
- Strong understanding of basic clinical skills and documentation
- Comfort using electronic health record systems
- Professional communication skills with patients and staff
- Ability to stay organized manage time well and work independently
- Interest in functional preventive or integrative medicine preferred
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
