What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Absolute Group?
We’re expanding our operations and seeking a dependable Superintendent to join our Residential & Commercial Concrete Division at Absolute Group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in the concrete industry with a focus on commercial foundations. Successful candidates will have a Class A CDL and a clean driving record. A Superintendent provides hands-on work in the construction, erection, and repair of concrete foundation walls. Daily responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, training and directing crew members, ensuring appropriate use of equipment, communicating progress on the project, maintaining the construction schedule, coordinating drop-off and pick-up of construction materials, and evaluating job plans. They must have the ability to lift heavy objects and be on their feet for long periods of time. The ideal candidate must also be able to think and act as a leader and possess strong communication skills. Some concrete construction projects require in-state travel and overnight stays. A typical schedule is Monday-Friday, but could vary based on project timelines. Saturday hours are occasional and based on demand.

Above all things, candidate must have the ability to show up to work on time, possess a strong work ethic, show a willingness to learn and have a positive attitude.
