Absolute Expert Care is seeking a highly skilled, self-directed HCBS Medicaid Biller with a strong understanding of Colorado Medicaid billing requirements. Position Overview
The HCBS Medicaid Biller is responsible for managing all facets of Colorado-specific Medicaid billing, including coding, Sandata EVV validation, claim submission, resubmissions, corrections, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and confident in navigating Colorado’s HCBS billing rules and processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent, dedicated HCBS Medicaid billing experience, including significant Colorado Medicaid billing responsibilities.
- Sandata EVV experience is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Prior Authorization Requests (PARs) and the Direct Care Services Calculator (DCSC)
- Strong knowledge of Colorado Medicaid billing policies, codes, and procedures
- Experience with claim submission, resubmission, corrections, and denial resolution
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- High accuracy, strong problem‑solving skills, and excellent communication
- Proficiency with billing platforms, spreadsheets, and documentation systems
- Proficient in Google Workspace; Microsoft Copilot
Key Responsibilities
- Complete full‑cycle HCBS Medicaid billing for PASA/SCC/Host Home services
- Validate and reconcile Sandata EVV data prior to claim submission
- Perform coding, corrections, and resubmissions with precision
- Monitor remittance advice, resolve denials, and maintain audit‑ready records
- Ensure compliance with Colorado HCPF billing standards
- Collaborate with administrative and program teams as needed
Schedule & Compensation
- Full Time
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- $25.00 per/hour
