What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Inventory Assistant- 3rd Shift position at Absolute Companies?
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchasing of prescription drugs, OTC drugs, various supplies, and other miscellaneous items for pharmacy operation at best price and availability
- Meet purchasing requirements for Source rebates
- Receive inventory using LSPedia platform in order to meet DSCSA requirements
- Report DSCSA discrepancies or inventory issues to Inventory Lead in timely manner
- Put away vendor orders
- Process and receive purchase orders and manual orders from vendors as needed
- Process and prepare returns to vendors
- Communicate issues with vendors (mis-picks, incorrect quantities)
- Participate in physical inventories when necessary
- Help maintain Inventory Formulary in Framework and other pharmacy software systems, including but not limited to; adding new NDCs, rolling NDCs, maintaining Formulary Override Items list
- Participate in performing cycle counts
- Pulling and processing Outdates
- Daily monitoring and handling of INVBO Dashboard
- Daily monitoring and handling of documents in ECM- Inventory folder
- Assist in recall management
- Participating in the processing of reports as needed
- Ship items to SMC Returns for manufacturer credit
- Maintaining outside compounding records
- Handle various assignments as deemed necessary by Inventory Lead

SCHEDULE:
- Full-time (average 40 hours/week)
- Third shift- to optimize availability of medications on shelf and accessibility of automation inventory
- Weekends as needed
- Must work within a set period of time to meet specific deadlines

EDUCATION:
- Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Pharmacy technician license in good standing
PERSONAL APPEARANCE:
- All employees shall be neat and well-groomed at all times in accordance with the employee handbook.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work area will be well-lit, ventilated workspace. Proper working space will be made available. The required tools such as desk, telephone, computer, printer, copier and fax access, etc. will be provided for the job position as needed.
