ENERGY TECHNICIANWe’re looking for someone who can find where the house is leaking money—and fix it.

Trinity Home Performance is hiring an Energy Technician to help make homes more comfortable, efficient, and affordable to operate.

This is not a “stand around and hold the flashlight” job.

You’ll be crawling through attics, running blower door tests, sealing air leaks, blowing insulation, installing efficiency measures, working around water heaters, documenting your work, and occasionally discovering that whoever built the house had some very creative ideas.

If you like working with your hands, solving problems, seeing immediate results, and leaving a home noticeably better than you found it, you may fit right in.

What You’ll Do

• Perform blower door testing and other home-performance diagnostics
• Air seal attics, penetrations, top plates, plumbing openings, and other leakage areas
• Install blown-in insulation and related attic measures
• Install proper damming, tents, baffles, and protective barriers
• Complete water-heater and other energy-efficiency measures
• Take clear before-and-after photos and document completed work
• Follow project scopes and rebate-program requirements
• Protect the customer's home and clean up completely when finished
• Work with the team to complete jobs efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Leave every job fully finished, neat, documented, and ready for inspection

What We’re Looking For

Experience in HVAC, insulation, weatherization, construction, plumbing, home performance, or a related trade is helpful—but attitude and work ethic matter just as much.

We want someone who is:

• Mechanically inclined
• Dependable
• Comfortable working in attics and crawlspaces
• Detail-oriented
• Physically capable of performing hands-on trade work
• Comfortable learning testing equipment and building-science principles
• Respectful in customers' homes
• Able to follow a scope of work from beginning to complete closeout
