What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Professional position at Absolute Cleaning Queens, LLC?
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Absolute Cleaning Queens (“ACQ”) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to service short-term rental properties between guest stays. This role is critical to maintaining guest satisfaction, 5-star reviews, and fast turnaround times across our portfolio of properties. You’ll work independently, while having a supportive team who oversees the quality expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and reset short-term rental units between guest checkout and next check-in, following property-specific checklists.
- Strip, wash, and remake all linens, including bed linens, bathroom, and kitchen linens.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain the entire indoor of the property/section according to the basic and deep cleaning expectations.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain the care and upkeep of indoor and outdoor amenities, including but not limited to hot tubs, saunas, fire pits, grills, etc.
- Restock guest amenities and consumables per property guidelines.
- Inspect properties for damage, missing/found items, or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Take before and after photos as required per our quality assurance standards.
- Complete additional assignment activities, including completing a detailed end-of-job report, submitting photos, package, laundry, trash pick-up, delivery and haul, and use of company-specific resources.
- Adhere to strict turnaround windows between checkout and check-in, including same-day turnarounds.
- Maintain consistent and transparent communication with the administrative team.
PHYSICAL & LOGISTICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel up to 20-30 miles for work. Mileage is not reimbursed.
- Reliable transportation with the capacity to haul cleaning supplies, up to 3 large contractor bags of trash and 2 large laundry baskets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized checklists and procedures.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, task management, scheduling, and use of assignment resources.
- Physically able to lift up to 25lbs, stand/bend/kneel for extended periods and the ability to use flights of stairs repetitively.
- The ability to use proactive judgement by problem solving in stressful situations with a calm and productive demeanor.
- The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to fulfill the scope of the role.
- Trustworthy, responsible, and comfortable working independently in client properties.
- Ability to provide their own cleaning supplies or agree to participate in the company rental/leasing program.
COMPENSATION:
ACQ supports over 30 properties within Western North Carolina, and all assignments are paid by-the-job. Job pay is based on factors like house size and number of cleaners. Our current rates range from $50 to $800 each turn.
Additional tasks or certain conditions warrant additional compensation. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are based on house conditions/needs.
Contractors will complete a W-9 upon joining and be issued a 1099-NEC.
SCHEDULE:
We prefer that all cleaners have flexibility when it comes to scheduling. However, we welcome individuals who have open daytime (9:00am to 4:00pm) availability on certain days of the week.
On average, our cleaners can be assigned up to 5 properties each week if their availability and the schedule demand allows.
SEASONAL:
ACQ does have peak operating hours where demand for cleaners is greater than the slow-season. The slow-season for this role is January-March. No member of the ACQ team works on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day.
TEAM:
ACQ averages 10-12 team members at any given period. We pride ourselves on having grown our long-tenured team while still being able to offer our Clients comprehensive services outside of our basic cleaning package. This means that in addition to cleaners, ACQ also welcomes individuals with job-related backgrounds in maintenance and/or property restoration!
ACQ welcomes parents who are able to still provide exceptional cleaning services while bringing their children along, if needed.
Pay: $50.00 - $800.00 per day
