As a PTA on our team, you will be the hands-on force behind our residents’ recovery. You’ll implement personalized treatment plans that help seniors regain their mobility and confidence following surgery, injury, or illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate residents and their families on safe mobility and home exercise programs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care.
- Licensed: Current New York State Physical Therapist Assistant licensure – new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Experience in a SNF or Geriatric setting preferred.
- Heart: Someone who views therapy as more than just a checklist and truly enjoys building relationships with seniors.
