Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess the communication and swallowing abilities of our residents, using evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans

• Implement and deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to address cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing deficits

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care

• Monitor and record treatment progress, adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing documentation

• Participate in interprofessional education and training activities to enhance practice and promote evidence-based care
