Youll work closely with executive leadership, business development, and operations to ensure projects are thoughtfully planned, accurately scoped, and aligned with Abshers strategic goals.This role blends strategy, technical leadership, and people development. Youll set standards, guide teams, shape client experiences, and ensure accuracy, accountability, and readiness before construction begins.What Youll DoSet Preconstruction StrategyLead the overall preconstruction approach to align client needs, project goals, and business objectivesPartner with the President, EVP, Business Development, and Operations teams on early project decisions, budgets, schedules, risk strategies, and pro forma assumptionsEstablish and maintain consistent preconstruction standards, tools, and processes across the organizationLead and Develop TeamsMentor and support preconstruction managers and multidisciplinary teams including estimating, scheduling, BIM, QA/QC, safety, and project staffFoster a collaborative, accountable environment that reflects Abshers values and commitment to developing peopleConduct audits and lead monthly reporting to ensure quality, consistency, and construction readinessShape the Client ExperienceBuild trusted relationships with owners, design partners, and subcontractorsLead collaborative planning sessions focused on constructability, value creation, risk mitigation, and realistic schedulingPresent conceptual budgets, milestone estimates, and GMP development with clarity and confidenceDrive Accuracy and AccountabilityOversee conceptual and detailed cost modeling, value engineering, and budget alignmentManage bid solicitation, proposal reviews, subcontractor scope vetting, and early procurement strategiesMaintain variance reporting and Budget Control Logs to track changes and support informed decision-makingWhy Youll Be SuccessfulYou bring a builders mindset with a strategic lens.
