We’re looking for a compassionate and professional Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front office team! As the first and last point of contact for our clients, CSRs play a vital role in shaping their experience at our hospital. Position Type: Full-Time (30 hours per week)
Availability: Must be available to work weekends and flexible shifts within our hours of operation (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and patients warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments accurately using EzyVet software.
Obtain and upload prior medical records and keep client information up to date.
Confirm upcoming appointments and provide clear instructions.
Assist with check-ins, triage for emergencies, and keep clients informed of wait times.
Accurately process invoices and accept multiple forms of payment (cash, credit card, CareCredit, Scratch Pay).
Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and organized reception area.
Provide support during sensitive situations, including euthanasia appointments.
Uphold a respectful and collaborative workplace environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong background in client service; veterinary experience is a plus.
Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working on a computer and learning veterinary software.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-volume setting.
Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts within a 7 AM – 10 PM schedule.
Work Environment:
Animal hospital setting with exposure to pets, cleaning agents, and occasional loud noise.
Standing or sitting for extended periods.
Exposure to zoonotic diseases and other medical environments.
