At ABS Tag & Title, we're are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Receptionist to welcome visitors, assist employees, and keep the front desk running smoothly. You'll be the first face people see when they enter our office, helping create a positive, organized, and welcoming environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, notify the appropriate person of their arrival, and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression
- Answer, screen, and transfer multi-line phone calls; take messages and manage correspondence
- Handle front desk tasks, including mail and other deliveries
- Maintain office security by following procedures, controlling access, record, and issuing visitor badges
- Perform various clerical tasks such as filing, sorting, and data entry
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and sanitized receptions area, including desk and high-touch surfaces
- Submit work orders and repair requests as needed to property management online and follow up via email and phone
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Previous clerical or office experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
- Attention to detail with accuracy when managing multiple tasks
- Proficient in business communication, including phone, email, and in-person etiquette and grammar
- Essential customer service skills focus
- Good organizational skills, prioritize tasks, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required)
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 1 years front desk receptionist with multi-line phone experience
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, and telephones.
- Will consistently work in a well-illuminated and temperature-controlled office setting.
- The role requires sitting for roughly 90 percent of the day, with the remaining time spent walking, standing, bending, squatting, or lifting up to 15 pounds at a time.
Work Schedule and Benefits:
