What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABA Behavior Therapist - Worcester - Full Time & Part Time (ABA EXPERIENCE PLEASE) position at ABS Behavioral Health Services LLC?
ABS Behavioral Health Services provides ABA based interventions to children, adolescents, and adults with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through the use of evidence based therapy, we address behaviors that are socially significant for the individuals. Behavior therapists work 1:1 in the home, community, or center-based setting following behavior intervention plans and treatment plans designed by the BCBA/LABA.
- Part time and Full-Time positions available in the Worcester location
- Full-time schedule is currently Monday-Friday between 8:45 AM - 6:30 PM (with breaks incorporated).
- Part time schedule is currently Monday-Friday between 2:00 PM -7:00 PM and Saturdays 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.
Job Description
- Work directly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the home, community, or center based setting
- Collect behavior data, skill acquisition data and session notes each session
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and treatment plans as developed by the BCBA/LABA
- Maintain professionalism and client confidentiality at all times
- Work collaboratively with the family, supervisor, and other therapists on the case
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred
- Individuals with a high school diploma or Associate’s degree with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel up to 25 miles from the office locations in Worcester and Framingham
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a background check
