RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises the group home staff assigned to the setting and coordinates the daily activities essential to the completion of the service objectives for the individuals-supported residential setting.
- Mentoring residents related to basic life skills: maintaining households, such as cleaning their home, doing laundry, assisting in meal preparation, shopping, etc
- Ensures a safe environment is maintained by communicating procedures with residents, support coordinators, visitors, and staff.
- Provides assistance in following special or prescribed diets.
- Assisting in dressing, bathing, and grooming
- Supervising and administration of prescribed medications under the written prescription of a physician.
- Assisting in evaluating the needs of residents with family members, case managers, and others in the resident's support team.
- Provide backup to the Program Director
- Schedule flexibility, some weekends
- Hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and will vary depending on need.
Position desired qualification:
- Experience with behavior management
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Current Article 9
- Current Prevention and Support
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Clear driving record that meets our insurance carrier's requirements
- Drug-free workplace
- Fingerprint clearance and pass a thorough background check
- Computer savvy (Google Sheets, Documents)
