- Technician providing ECHO cardiograms.
- Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms,
- M-mode, 2-dimensional
- Doppler, color flow mapping
- Transesophageal imaging
- Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist
Position Summary
Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.
- Special Skills:
- Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.
- Certifications: Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
- Experience: 1 Year
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
- Certifications: RDCS
