Job Summary
The Fellow/Administrative Resident provides support to the organization through the completion of assigned duites/responsibilities and projects.
Under direction of the assigned A-Team member/mentor the Administrative Resident will collect, synthesize and analyze data from various
sources to make recommendations and take action related to a specified area(s) of the business. Projects will be assigned with the intent of
the fellow/resident developing their knowledge, skills and experience related to different areas of hospital administration in order to test and
apply theory into practical work situations. Resident will be exposed to various positions in the organization to ensure a well-rounded experience

Abrazo West Campus is recognized for providing exceptional, comprehensive care to patients in West Valley communities. The 200-bed acute care hospital offers advanced services, including the da Vinci Xi surgical platform, Level I Trauma Center, Loop-X system, orthopedics, obstetrics and cardiovascular care.

- Utilizes economics and statistical methods to understand, and apply the basic principles of economics, statistics, and epidemiology to health care issues.
- Develops the ability to understand the legislative and bioethical environment and effectively participate in discussions relating to health policy and healthcare ethics at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Develops the ability to understand the importance of population health and the influence population health management has on a healthcare organization
- Utilizes critical thinking and analysis to understand a situation, issue, or problem by breaking it into smaller pieces or tracing its implications in a step-by-step way.
- Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned
- Special Skills: Strong analytical, problem solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. Currently enrolled in post-baccalaureate program.
