Education:
Graduate of an approved Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certification: BLS

- Demonstrates support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by adhering to federal and state laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to job functions, and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Assess and reassess adult and geriatric patients with implanted cardiac devices.
- Provides comprehensive follow-up care for patients with implanted cardiac devices.
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers to adjust the plan of care as needed.
- Assists in maintaining a current database for device clinic patients.
- Knowledge and understanding of proper billing and reimbursement as it applies to implanted cardiac devices.
- Assists in device clinic scheduling and triages patient phone calls.
- Performs additional device testing and documentation as needed for A-V and V-V echo optimizations and clinical trials.
- Competently provides patient teaching and resources (e.g., support groups, health fairs), and performs other office duties as assigned.
Education:
